The header and footer of a Template can be customized inside of Propdocs. Additionally, you can prevent the header and footer of a template from being edited when it is used in a document.
Set Up Footer
To setup the header and footer of a template, navigate to the template editor:
1. Click on the Header/Footer toolbar icon to open the Header and Footer editors
2. Add images, text, and other information to both the header and footer.
Page Numbers
To add page numbers, click the page number toolbar icon in the header/footer editors
Lock Header/Footer
To prevent the header or footer from being edited when this template is used in a document, check the 'Lock Header' or 'Lock Footer' checkboxes.
3. Click Save & Close when you're done.
When the template is used to create a document, the header and footer are is not visible in the main document editor, but will be included when exported and sent for signing. If the header or footer is not locked in template setup, document creators will have the ability to customize the header and footer while editing the document.
