ℹ️ Quick Overview: Organize your templates and clauses into
folders for better management, easier navigation, and improved team collaboration.
Understanding Folders
Folders help you organize templates and clauses by:
- Category - Group by document type (leases, agreements, addendums)
- Department - Separate by team (legal, sales, operations)
- Status - Organize by stage (draft, review, published)
- Region - Sort by location or jurisdiction
Creating Folders
For Templates:
- Navigate to Templates page from the main menu
- Click "New Folder" button in the top toolbar
- Enter folder name (e.g., "Residential Leases")
- Select parent folder if creating a subfolder (optional)
- Click "Create" to save the folder
For Clauses:
- Navigate to Clauses page from the main menu
- Click "New Folder" button
- Name your folder (e.g., "Standard Terms")
- Choose location (root level or inside existing folder)
- Click "Create" to confirm
💡 Pro Tip: Create a logical folder structure from the start.
Consider using a naming convention like "YEAR-TYPE-REGION" for consistency.
