You can manage Document Attachments within the document editor using the Attachments sidebar (left side, paperclip icon). A common use case for attachments are adding exhibit or associated signed agreements to the document.
How to Use the Attachments Sidebar
- Access the Sidebar: In the document editor, open the Attachments Sidebar from the left side of the screen (paperclip icon).
- Upload Attachments: Click the “Upload” button to add one or more PDFs as attachments to your contract.
- Rearrange Attachments: Simply drag and drop the attachments in the sidebar to arrange them in your preferred order. The attachments will be appended in this order at the end of the contract when it's sent for signing.
- Delete Attachments: Click the trash icon next to any attachment to remove it from the document.
By managing your attachments in Propdocs during the drafting/negotiating process, you ensure that all related documents are included and properly organized when your contract is ready for signatures.
When you're ready to send the document for signing, your attachments will automatically be added to the end of the contract (in the specified order) to create your signing package.
